Es gibt Erlebnisse, die sich nur schwer in Worte fassen lassen – das vergangene Wochenende am Comer See war genau so eines. Auf Einladung von BMW Classic durfte ich den Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este besuchen – ein Fest für automobile Ästhetik, Historie und Leidenschaft, eingebettet in eine Kulisse, die selbst schon Filmkulisse sein könnte.
An meiner Seite: mein Neuzugang in Sachen analoger Fotografie, die Pentax 67. Keine digitale Hektik, kein Live-View, kein Autofokus. Nur Licht, Film, und ein großer, heller Sucher, durch den die Welt für einen Moment stillzustehen scheint.
Mit jeder Aufnahme habe ich versucht, nicht nur die Formen und Linien der ikonischen Fahrzeuge festzuhalten, sondern auch die leisen Zwischentöne – das Spiel von Licht und Schatten auf dem Lack, die gespannten Gespräche am Rand, das Funkeln in den Augen der Enthusiasten.
